The Superintendent recommends approval of

Order Requirements
The Superintendent recommends that certain items be exempt from purchase order
requirements.
G. Establish Petty Cash Amounts at Schools for
2005-06 School Year
The Superintendent recommends establishing petty cash amounts at each school for the
2005-06 school year.
H. Request to Use School Facilities
The Superintendent recommends approval for Drum Corps to use the football stadium,
bathroom facilities and the gym on July 19, 2005 for overnight stay while in route
to competition.
I. Request to Off-Line Certain Checks for the
2005-06 School Year
The Superintendent recommends approval to off-line certain checks for the 2005-06
school year.
J. Proposed Meal Price Increase
The Superintendent recommends approval of meal price increases for the 2005-06 school
year for
paid student
K. Approval of Reading Sufficiency Plan
The Superintendent recommends approval of the Reading Sufficiency Plan for submission
to the state department of education.
L. Ratify Poll Vote of School Board
The Superintendent recommends ratifying the following poll vote of the school board
taken on May 26, 2005:
1. to grant permission for our athletic teams to compete in summer camps as
follows:

June 3-5
- varsity girls basketball in a team camp at

June
10-11 - varsity girls basketball to a team camp at
USM. They will use the mini bus.

June 18
- football will be taking 12 athletes to Tulane for a team 7-on-7 camp. Coaches will drive a bus with the team.

17-19 - varsity boys basketball team will be taking 12
athletes to

June
24-26 - varsity boys basketball will be taking 22
athletes to
·
June
28-30 - Coach D'Angelo will be taking four seniors from the varsity basketball
team to MSU for an Elite camp.

occurring before the next board meeting, i.e. trips of June 3-5 and June 10-11.

school bus to transport children enrolled
in the city's summer recreation program.

Transportation, Maintenance/Custodial, Food Service Department (new and
returning staff), and Technology Department.
